Certainly the First Lady is entitled to wear whatever she likes and whatever she can afford, but paying five hundred bucks and change for a pair of sneakers the color of duct tape, when so many people are unemployed and fearful of the economy, $500 sneaks might not be the best "let them eat cake" symbol to send! And let's just see them gush over her ankles they way the gush over her arms! Heh.
