Waiting to Exhale

Remember not that long ago, George W. Bush was berated for being anti-science. He wouldn't allow federal funding for unproven embryonic stem cell research. He never banned the research, he just didn't believe that the taxpayers should pay for it.
But, now, we have an administration with a true respect for science! We have an administration that declares what you exhale, the gas that nurtures and feeds your plants to be "dangerous".

The EPA
"...concluded Friday that greenhouse gases linked to climate change "endanger public health and welfare," setting the stage for regulating them under federal clean air laws."

Gee! A gas you exhale is declared "dangerous" by the government. And it is so! No junk science there! /sarcasm

There were some of us who predicted that the Obamanation would be home to any cockamamie, AlGoreian global warming scheme that came along, and this administration, less than three months old, does not disappoint!

...In announcing the proposed finding, EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson said it "confirms that greenhouse gas pollution is a serious problem now and for future generations." She reiterated that the Obama administration prefers that climate change be address by Congress through broad, economy-wide limits on climate-changing pollution. But the EPA finding of endangerment prepares for possible regulatory action if Congress fails to act.

A serious problem? Doug Ross had this graphic about a week ago:

Oooh! Look at those "dangerous levels" of man made carbon dioxide! 3.4 per cent of 3.62 per cent of 2 percent... And if Congress doesn't act, a bunch of appointed bureaucrats will! Makes me glad we elected a "man of science" to the White House. (Just not last year!)
Is this the "change" you voted for? I don't think so! *Sigh*
